Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies
New recipe!!! It’s been wayyyy too long since I’ve shared a recipe.
These are my chocolate chip tahini cookies! The tahini in these cookies is not overpowering, but gives these cookies a rich nuttiness that is absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
•1 cup butter, softened
•1 cup dark brown sugar
•1/2 cup sugar
•2 eggs
•1 tsp vanilla
•2/3 cup tahini
•2-1/2 cups flour
•1 tsp baking soda
•1 tsp salt
•2 cups dark chocolate chips
Flaky sea salt
Method:
•Preheat oven to 350
•Mix together butter, brown sugar, and sugar
•Add in eggs and vanilla and stir to combine
•Add in tahini and stir to combine
•Add flour, baking soda, and salt and stir to combine (remember to always lightly spoon the flour into the measuring cup, never scoop using the measure cup itself!)
•Stir in chocolate chips
•Using a cookie scoop, portion out dough on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top and bake for 8-10 minutes or until just the edges are golden.
